Brings Real Snow to everyone in the world

Polar Technologies

Any Temperature Snow Making

Andrew French invented and founded Polar Technologies at Thredbo, NSW, Australia in 1989 when it was called Blizzard systems. After further development and testing he skied into Sydney Harbour to launch the inventions with a group of friends from the Australian ski fields. Andrew then went to the USA where he showed the technology to ski resorts and negotiated a deal with the Chamber of Commerce in Hawaii and made snow on the Waikiki Beach at Xmas 1991 and then set up in operations with an office in Reno, Nevada, USA with the money he had made from the snow job on Hawaii. It was a great success in Hawaii and was featured on more than 27 TV channels in the US. Snow was made at Disneyland shortly after and many times after that and partner companies came on board and used the snow making for promotional events, movie making and advertising. The invention was earning money and on its way. Andrew has brought snow to everyone in the world to enjoy and many indoor ski parks are in major cities where there is no natural snow.

Andrew won the Best Foreign Invention at The International Exhibition of Inventions held in Geneva, Switzerland and many other awards and Gold Medals in the USA and other places.

Real snow is made by using compressed air to atomise the water, then Liquid Nitrogen freezes the water into snow before it hits the ground in any temperature and anywhere in the world.

The Snow Making Technology is now promoted and produce by Polar Europe BV.
